ABOUT
10 kilometres. One climb. One opponent: the clock.
On Sunday, August 2, 2026, the Chios Odyssey Series R2 comes to Psara. The Psara Ascent, an individual uphill time trial, is held for the first time on the historic island by the Skinos Cycling Team of Chios, co-organized with the Municipality of Psara.
Starting from the port of Psara and finishing at the Holy Monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos, riders take on 10 kilometres of continuous climbing, on a route that combines a true athletic challenge with the island's unique natural beauty and historical significance.
The event is OPEN: all cyclists are welcome, regardless of whether they hold a Hellenic Cycling Federation licence — in the spirit of fair play, respect among athletes, and showcasing Psara as a sports tourism destination.
The event is part of Psara In Motion, helping strengthen the island's presence as a destination for sports experiences.
Online entries are accepted until Saturday, August 1, 2026, 12:00, via the registration form.
